Products Available
Porting is currently available for most GM Intake Manifolds.
Intake porting for Gen II (LT1/4), GEN III (Aftermarket LS1, LS6, LQ4, LQ9), and GEN IV (LS2) is available as well, but pricing will vary dependent upon the level of complexity required. We've also added the newest LS7, LS3, and L76 intakes to our offerings as well. Contact me for further info.
Custom work is also available for other projects and platforms. Contact me to discuss your project and requirements.
About the Process
Each intake requires about 3 hours from the first cut to the last cleaning step. All intakes are ported with air tools using various cutting bits and a two stage sanding process followed by a high speed polishing stage. All intakes are degreased and scrubbed and then fully cleaned with water before drying. Prior to packaging, all intakes are cleaned again with high pressure air to ensure a product that is ready to bolt on upon arrival.
Rates and Options
Current rate is $250 for porting your L76 or LS3 intake manifold.
We have 3 basic options to make the transaction as convenient as possible for you.
Option #1. Remove your intake manifold and ship it to LS2 Port Works via the shipper of your choice (FEDEX, UPS, US Mail, DHL, etc.) and select the speed of service you desire (Next Day, 3 Day, Ground, etc). Include a return shipping slip and it will be ported and on its way back to you right away- current ship time is typically four days after I receive it.
Option #2. Buy a new or used intake and have it drop shipped to LS2 Port Works for porting. Or you may elect to have me purchase the intake for you and handle the entire transaction. Contact me for current new intake pricing and to discuss the various methods and cost of shipment.
Option #3. We offer a core exchange option for L76 and LS3 intakes. I stock ported versions that are available for shipping and exchange with your good core intake. The cost is $295 with shipping both ways included and the core fee is $250 and is refunded when your good core arrives back at my shop after you swap it. This gives you a great ZERO downtime option. As above, Fedex ground is the preferred method of shipment but others are available. Contact me for more info.
Option #4. You can come by the shop and drop it off and pick it up when completed.
Methods of Payment
The preferred method of payment is Paypal as it is very fast and reliable. Money orders and cashiers checks are also accepted and receive a 5% discount. Cash (in person only please) and personal checks are also accepted with a 5% discount. Personal checks must clear the bank before shipment will occur.
